Staff And Training
Staff and training at Rivers Edge are crucial to our company. We focus on making sure our team is fully trained in helping our residents so that our residents can have their best possible experience. When hired, our employees go through training to best assure family members will be in great hands. Being a family-owned and operated business, we know the importance of keeping a family safe. Our goal and values center around just that.
As a company, we offer different growth opportunities for our employees. From job shadowing for beginners to extensive training to keep them up-to-date and knowledgeable on different health codes, we help them gain a deeper understanding of our residents in their needs and preferences.
Keeping Your Family Safe
- Our staff goes through 8-hour dementia training when hired
- We provide on-site Home Health Aide (HHA) training by a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Each employee goes through medication administration training
- After one year, our team will go through another training for dementia and on-site training for new procedures and treatments
We do have outside agencies that we can reach out to for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. We also have agencies we can reach out to for Hospice services. This is a service we don't provide, but we can outsource this need to have the care needed per doctors orders.
